Rue laughed lightly and looked around. "So, where to?"

"I was thinking to crazy treats. I've never been there, and I've finally got money to do something," he suggested.

Kyle nodded and put the money in his pocket, walking down the street silently again, heading for Crazy Treats.

Kyle got to the addict house and stopped on the front porch. He kept his hands in his pockets and his eyes on the ground.

Rue looked at him and smiled. "You look really handsome with that butterfly on your face." She teased, sitting down on the last step that led to the house.

Rue grinned. "Welcome." Her stomach started feeling the intense, achy feeling that she would frequently get, but she tried to ignore it.

Kyle sat down as well and started fidgeting with the sleeve of his jacket.

Rue looked down at the ground and frowned slightly at the pain in her stomach. After a few moments she gave up and took out another cigarette, lighting it quickly.

Kyle handed her a $20 bill and said, "Take that."

Rue looked at him oddly before taking a drag. She took the bill and breathed out, watching the money for a moment before asking, "Why?"

Rue blinked and stared at the bill for a moment before shrugging and putting it in her pocket before taking another drag.

Rue watched him leave and sighed quietly, looking down at the cigarette that she was twirling in her fingers. After several minutes she put out the cigarette and went inside, flopping down on the couch lazily.

The next day, Kyle walked back up to the door and knocked quietly.

Rue opened her eyes slowly, having been passed out on the couch. She sat up slowly and groaned, rubbing her eyes. She walked up to the door and opened it lazily. "What," She mumbled, leaving the door open as she turned around and walked back toward the kitchen.
