"I don't know," Flash whispers. "You never really asked, and I didn't want you to be mad," She whispers.

"I'm going to be mad about it, either way. Are you trying to get yourself killed? You're doing dangerous stuff, Flash."

"I know. I just couldn't help it," Flash whispers, and pulls back, leaning against the back of the couch and sniffing again. "And I kinda figured, if he had these other people doing the killings for him, than he wouldn't get his hands dirty with the blood of a teenager," She adds, and holds her knees to her chest.

Blake shook his head, "I may not know much about this life that you've lived, but I do know Griffon. And considering he's Josh's real dad, from what I've heard about him, he's never alone. That was really stupid, Flash. I know what I was talking about when I said I didn't want you to go."

"I'm sorry," Flash whispers, and puts her head on her knees, shutting her eyes. "I just couldn't help it. It's how I've always reacted when someone tells me not to do something," She adds.

"By doing it?" Blake shook his head. He asked quietly, "Can you please stop? I'm not telling you, I'm asking you. Please, stay away from them. Avoid all of that stuff, please."

"I'll try," Flash whispers, and sighs, opening her eyes. "I'm sorry for being so harsh. It's how all types of drugs effect me," She adds.

Blake put his arm around Flash, pulling her to him. "I love you, Flash. No matter what happened between us, whatever arguments or disagreement we'll have in the future, I'm still going to love you."

Flash sniffles and smiles. "Your the only person to have ever said that to me other than my mom," She whispers, and wraps her arms around him.

Blake looked at his phone, "I'm not sure I want to go to that interview. I mean, a school janitor? Doesn't sound that great."
