Blake smiled widely, "Yes, daddy." He tickled Dylan's small foot.

Dylan kicks his feet and claps. "Mommy," He laughs.

Blake's facial expression changed. He looked at Dylan blankly. "Mommy isn't here right now."

Flash parks, and then walks into the apartment. She growls, and puts her stuff in their room. She walks back into the living room, and starts to pace angrily. Varen comes up after her, and sighs, staying silent.

Blake got up, picking up Dylan as well, and walked from the room. He looked at Varen oddly, "Uh, who are you?"

"A friend," Varen replies calmly, and looks at the baby. "Awww, I didn't know something so beautiful could come out of her," He smiles. Flash growls and shakes her head. "I'm done with him. If he wants to ruin my life, do be it, it's not like anything worse can happen," She grumbles.

"What happened?" Blake asked, looking at Flash.

"The thing that I used to call family, just disowned me," Flash snarls. Varen sighs. "She can get really emotion when somethings happen. Shadows disowned her because she told him to stop supplying," He whispers.

Flash sits down on the floor, and growls quietly. "Go comfort her. She'll bite my head off if I try," Varen whispers, and nudges him lightly.

Blake glanced at Varen oddly, then walked over to the swing and put Dylan in it, then went over to Flash and sat down. "Dylan said mommy while you were gone," he said quietly.

Flash glances at Blake quietly, and hugs him tightly. "I'm sorry," She whispers. Varen slowly backs out of the apartment.

"I went to see this guy, Griffon, after you told me to let go of my past," Flash whispers, and shakes her head. "I just wanted to find out why he was killing people," She adds, and buries her face in his shoulder.
