"Joe, of course," she laughed. "He just doesn't know it yet."

Joe looks at Macy and smirks. "This sounds like fun," He chuckles.

"Exactly what I was thinking," she told him with a wink before retreating off to the bathroom to get ready.
Carter seemed confused. "Well this is... Odd."

Carter sat there awkwardly. Was his mother seriously going to try and hook up with his fiance's uncle? It all seemed so bizarre to him.

Joe studies Carter and chuckles. "We're not actually related. I was just always around when she was little," He says calmly. Flash giggles and leans toward Carter, poking him.

"It's still kind of strange," Carter sighed. He felt at the scar on his face. He had been going to physical therapy to regain the strength in that side of his face, and it truly had done wonders. He could actually smile now. But the feeling of the scars still bothered him. He looked at Flash and gave her a slight smile, then turned to the kids. "You two want to go play some baseball?"

They both nodded and jumped up running outside.

Carter smiled and got up from the table, kissing Flash on the cheek and then following the kids to the backyard. At the back door, he grabbed two helmets, the bat, glove, and a ball and went outside with the two. "Put your helmets on. Don't want Dylan hitting you in the head with the ball again, Juliette."

Dylan smiles. "I promise not to," He pouts and puts on his helmet. Julliette laughs and grabs her. "Thanks dad," She smiles.

Carter chuckled and gave the bat to Juliette. "Hit it nice and hard, okay?" He then handed the ball to Dylan. They already had some bases set up around the backyard. Carter would play with them every other night.

Dylan nods and throws the ball toward Juliette. Juliette swings and hits the ball, but it goes about two feet before bouncing off the ground.

"Okay, we can try again. Juliette, try and hit the ball a little lower, Okay? And swing hard. Just like I showed you," he smiled.

Dylan throws the ball again. Juliette nods and swings harder hitting the ball and watching it fly for a second before running to first base.

Carter clapped for her, then laughed and went to get the ball. "You can hit now, Dylan," he said, giving him the bat. "Whoever hits the ball most gets the most ice cream tonight," he added, hoping it'd encourage the two. He wanted to get them on a team.

Dylan takes the bat and gets ready, holding it cocked over his shoulder.

Dylan swung hard and hit the ball. running to first and then taking off to second.

Carter ran after the ball, but it flew into the neighbors yard and straight through their window. Carter's eyes widened and he froze. "Uh-oh," he muttered.

Flash wanders outside and looks at Carter. "What is it?" She asks.

He looked at her with wide eyes. "The ball went through the neighbors window..."
Just then, the ball came flying back out of the broken window, smashing through Carter and Flash's window. A woman with brown hair and freckles stood behind the broken window, glaring at them with her arms crossed.

Joe looked up and managed to get hit in the face with the ball. "Ow."Flash goes inside and grabs the ball, before walking outside again. She walked over to the neighbors house and smiles sweetly. "You see, we could have settled this with me paying for your window, but now, now you've also destroyed personal property. And it hit someone inside. So that's a personal injury as well."
