Crystal glanced over at Jay quickly, now watching him. Luna opened an eye lazily, since she had fallen asleep near the waterfall. She mumbled something quietly before closing it again.

Jay looked around with sleepy eyes, before resting his head on the ground again and drifting back to sleep.

Crystal watched her pups quietly, not really feeling tired. She sighed and rested her head on her paws.

Crystal glanced at Santanta through the corner of her eye awkwardly before looking away quickly. She licked her dry lips silently.

Luna fell back asleep, snoring quietly. Crystal watched the waterfall.

Santanta drifted off to sleep. Jay woke up and looked around, then hurried over to Crystal's side. He laid down by his mother and mumbled, "I had a bad dream."

Crystal watched him and blinked before licking his ear quickly. "It was just a dream. You'll be okay." She said quietly, not wanting to wake the others.

Santanta rolled over onto his side, stretching his legs in his sleep. He made an odd sounds before relaxing again.

Jay woke up a few hours later and looked around at everyone sleeping. He got up and wandered toward the trees, curiously.

Crystal snored quietly as she slept, rolling onto her side.

Jay wandered into the forest, looking around. He stepped on a thorn and yelped, stumbling over. The small pup quickly turned his attention to his paw and started chewing on it, trying to get the thorn out.

Crystal's ears flicked and she opened one eye lazily, thinking she had heard something. She sighed quietly before closing her eyes again and falling back to sleep.

Jay whined quietly, chewing at the pad of his foot. Finally the feeling went away and he hesitantly placed his foot back down. The thorn was gone. He stood up and scampered back to where his mother and siblings were.

Luna curled up tighter, shivering slightly. Crystal snored quietly in her sleep.

Luna yelped loudly and jumped up quickly, biting Jay's muzzle roughly as a reaction. Crystal perked her ears and lifted her head quickly, hearing the yelp.

Jay stepped back quickly, his ears pinned back. "Sorry! I was just trying to wake you up." Santanta was still in a deep sleep.
