Dr. Zimmer nods, and pats Carter on the shoulder. "She doesn't tell anyone about it. Just let her know she can be open to you," He whispers, and walks off. Flash gets up, and walks toward the door quietly.

Carter nodded and went back to Flash. "Ready to go home?" he asked.

Flash smiles and nods. "Of course. What did you and the doc talk about," She asks.

Carter shrugged, "Nothing important." He put his arm around her back, but instead of putting his hand on her side, he stuck his hand into her pocket and kissed her temple. Carter led her out the hospital doors.

Flash shrugs, and leans against him. "So, where to? Or are you going back to work," She asks.

"I'm off work for the day." He led her to the truck and opened her door.

Flash nods, and climbs in. "Then where to, Mister Smith," She giggles.

Carter thought about it, staying on her side of the truck. He had one hand on her knee and said, "I have no clue."

Flash covers his hand with her own, and smiles. "Well, Macho Man. Think," She giggles.

"How about..." he thought for a long moment. "Want to go see a movie?"

Flash smiles. "Okay," She giggles, and grabs Carter's hand, trying to pull him into the truck.

Carter laughed and climbed into the truck, over her, and sat on his side.

Flash giggles, and kisses his cheek. "Off to the movies," She smiles.

Carter started the truck and drove off.

The next day, Rave's doctor walked into the room and said quietly. "Leo? Can I speak with you?"

Leo looks at the doctor and nods, walking over.

The doctor stepped out of the room, motionig for Leo to follow. Rave was asleep.

Dr. Richardson closed the room door behind Leo, then said, "Rave really needs this surgery."

"I promised her I wouldn't let anyone give it to her," Leo replies.

"Sir, you aren't understanding how bad she's gotten. Ever sense she got the brain damage, she hasn't gotten worse. She's slowly gotten better and better. Now all of a sudden she's getting worse faster than she was getting better. Before, she would only zone out every once in a while, maybe twice a month. Now it's happening weekly. She needs this surgery."

Leo runs his hand over his hair. "I don't like the odds. She doesn't want it," He whispers.

"We either give it a shot, and believe that she'll come out of surgery just fine, or we allow her to continue getting worse until you have a wife who won't be able to even feed herself within the next year. Let me remind you, this surgery has already helped 2 people with similar troubles that Rave has."

Leo sighs. "Can I talk with her," He asks.

Dr. Richardson nodded once, "Of course." He stepped away from the door to allow Leo back into the room. Rave was still sleeping.
