Inga smiled and nuzzled her softly. "I know you can. But you don't have the time when watching the pups." he chuckled. He then frowned slightly. "Speaking of the pups. I know what Ramiro has been up to. I don't mind the lions but visiting my family's pack bothers me. He needs to not go there."

"They are cougars, and I'm not going to stop him if he's making friends, Inga.I walk there with him, and your siblings don't complain," Z whispers.

"Lions and cougars are the same thing. And I don't care if they complain or not. I forbid it. I have my reasons for doing so and I won't change my mind." he said stubbornly before leaping into the trees and disappearing.

Icy walked out of the den and frowned. "How come dad doesn't like his family?" she asked.

Angel walked out. "It's because they abandoned him when he was our age." she said.

Z sighs. "You can't avoid them forever, Inga," She shouts, and shuts her eyes again.

Icy ignored her sister and looked at her mom. "Is it true?" she asked.

Z sighs. "Your grandfather took him when he was a pup. He twisted his mind, and made him believe that your father's family didn't want him. He wasn't abandoned," She says calmly.

"Poor papa. Has he tried to talk to his family?" she asked.

Angel scoffed. "Of course he hasn't, dope."

"Don't be rude to your sister, Angel," Z snaps, and turns her attention to Icy. "He only visits them when I wander off. Which hasn't happened since before you children were born," She whispers.

Angel rolled her eyes as her mother scolded her. "I'm going to wake Feather so we can practice our flying." she said. She walked back into the den and prodded her twins side. "Wake up lazy bird."

Feather groaned. "Go away," She sighs.

"Not a chance. Come on. We are going to practice flying." she said and nipped her ear.

Feather growled and opened her eyes, jumping up. "I said go away," She barks, and nips at her sister.

Angel jumped back dodging quickly. "oh come on. Your awake now so lets just go."

Icy watched her sisters in the den and sighed sadly. "I wish I could go..."

Feather grinned, and tackled Angel, covering her eyes. "Now try and escape," She shouts.

Angel smirked. "You may be bigger and stronger but I'm faster and smarter!" she slid from under her sister tripping her as she went making her fall. Angel sat on her haunches and laughed as Feather stumbled head over heels. "Now try and catch me!" she bolted from the den and spread her wings taking to the air. Icy watched in amazement at her sisters easy and steady movements in the air.

Feather growled and raced after Angel swiftly, leaping into the air, and beating her wings.

Angel smirked in success and flew around the clearing being sure to stay far enough ahead of her sister and if she got to close, turning sharply and dodging.

Icy unfurled her tiny wings and examined them carefully. She looked at her mother. "Can I join them?" she asked hopefully.

"Wait until your wings are stronger. I don't want you getting hurt, since I can't see you," She whispers. Feather growls and flies faster, trying to catch her sister.

Icy folded her wins to her body sadly. "Oh... yes mama..."

Angel glanced down at her sister forgetting about Feather for a moment. She did feel sorry for her but she would never show it.

Feather smirks, and nips at Angel's tail. "I win," She declares.

Angel sighed and landed on a tree branch. "Fine. You win." she said

Feather laughs, and wags her tail, flying in circles.

Angel rolled her eyes and took back to the air quickly gaining on her sister and sky tackled her. "Got you!"

"I'm done," Feather pouts, and glares at her sister.

Angel broke apart from her sister and landed on another branch. "Whats eating you today?" she asked.
