"Put your foot on the brake, and put the car in reverse," Leo replies.

Rave nodded and did so, putting the car in reverse. "Okay."

"Check all around the car, and then very slowly, back out of the drive way," Leo smiles.

Rave nodded and let off the break, backing out of the driveway. She hit the pole of a street light though, not having seen it, and the car jerked to a stop as she slammed on the break. Her eyes widened, "OH MY GOD!"

Leo sighs, and gets out of the car. Looking at the pole and the car. "It's fine, Rave. But now you've learned, never take your foot off the brake when backing up," He chuckles, and gets back in. "Now, put the car in drive, and pull forward.

Rave shook her head quickly, holding her foot on the break. "No. I'm gonna hit something else. Or someone else. It's useless. I'll never get my license now. I just back into a pole for crying out loud!"

Leo sighs, and looks at her. "Rave, that's why we're doing this. That's why I'm having you practice, so you know what to do. Just stay calm, and pull forward slowly," He whispers, and touches her hand lightly.

Rave shook her head quickly, "No, I'm gonna do something wrong and break your truck, or something."

"Rave, I got this truck so I could beat it up. It's fine," Leo replies.

Rave looked at him cautiously. "You sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Would you feel better if you just steer, and I control everything else," Leo asks.

Rave shook her head, "No. I can do it." She put the car in drive and pulled forward, away from the pole. She checked to make sure that nothing else was in the way, and back out from the driveway the rest of the way, onto the street.

Leo smiles, and looks at her. "You did great," He laughs. "Now, put it in drive, and I want you to drive around the block," He says calmly.

Rave took a deep breath and put it in drive. She slowly started driving down the block, then said in a panicked tone, "I'm going to hit an old lady, or something!"

Leo sighs, and nudges her leg over to the brake, putting pressure on her knee. "Whenever you see something, just push on it," He says calmly. "And always stay calm," He adds.

Rave slowed to a stop before she turned. "What if I don't turn sharp enough and hit something else on the sidewalk? Or what if I turn too sharply?"

Leo pats her lightly, after you get used to driving, it'll be easier. But for now, it's always better to just turn the wheel a few times, okay," He asks.

Rave nodded and after some hesitation, made the turn. Her nerves were kicking in and her hands started shaking slightly.

"A vehicle is easier to control, the faster you go. But for now, don't go about 10. It's okay, your doing great," Leo whispers.

Rave frowned and turned again. She drove down the street quietly and made the other turn back onto his street.

Leo smiles, and relaxes slightly. "Your doing wonderful. Much better than me, if you ask the neighbors," He chuckles.

"You couldn't have been that bad," she said quietly, pulling back into the drive way and parking the car quickly.

"I deployed the air bags just trying to get out of the drive way," Leo replies.

Rave giggled, "Talented."

Leo chuckles, and takes the keys out of the car. "Come on," He chuckles.
