Rue glanced at him and finally stopped, setting it back down on the table. She leaned back and closed her eyes. "It's my drugs, man.."

Rue looked around with big eyes, her pupils starting to constrict. The skin on her cheeks started to flush and she giggled again.

Kyle smirked and his eyes bagan to wander the room again.

Rue's mouth started to feel dry, so she stood up to get some water. She started walking, the room seeming to be distorted and moving beneath her feet. Not paying attention to where she was walking, she tripped over the coffee table, landing flat on her stomach as she grunted in shock.

Rue groaned and rolled off of the table lazily, landing on her back on the floor. She stared at the ceiling with big eyes.

Rue started laughing quietly again, feeling oddly bubbly and happy.

Kyle looked at her and asked, "How did you get down there?"

Rue kept giggling. "I dunno..." She rubbed her forehead with her hand, then frowned at it with disdain before sitting up awkwardly.

Kyle watched her oddly, then put his attention back on the edge of his shirt.

Rue looked down, letting her hair fall in her face. She started examining her fingernails from underneath her hair.

Rue looked around with half lidded eyes. "What rat...?" She mumbled.

"The white rat. It told me it was coming for you," he said quietly, letting Rue go and looking around cautiously.

Rue sat up and looked around oddly. She then watched Kyle for a moment and poked his cheek, smiling. "Your butterfly is still there."

Kyle touched his face and asked, panicked, Where?! Get it off!"

Rue grinned and touched his cheek again, sliding her hand down the side of his face. The paint was now smeared down the side of his cheek, also staining Rue's hand pink. She looked at her hand for a moment, then chuckled. "It's gone.."
