Crystal looked outside quickly, seeing a flash of lightning. A few moments later, it was followed by a rumble of thunder. She shook her head. "It sure is raining hard." She said simply, setting the bag of candy on the coffee table.

"I'll give you $20 if you go jump in the pool," Santanta grinned.

Crystal's expression grew blank as she looked out of the window and at the pool. "What if I get struck by lightning or something?"

Crystal eyed him. "Show me that you even have the 20 dollars." She said to him, crossing her arms.

Santanta pulled his wallet out from his pocket and pulled out a $20 bill.

Crystal stared at it for a few moments before glancing outside, then back at him. She was deciding if it was worth it or not.

Santanta smiled and put the $20 back in the wallet.

Crystal watched, then scowled and opened the back door, running outside and into the rain quickly. She yelled something illegible and did a crappy cannonball into the pool.

Santanta started laughing, standing in the doorway. "Is it cold?"

Crystal burst from the surface, gasping. "YES!" She swam to the steps quickly and scrambled out of the water, shivering.

"Well, now you are $20 richer," Santanta grinned.

Crystal just shook her head and went inside quickly, going to the bathroom and grabbing a towel. She wrapped the towel around her tightly and walked back over to him, holding out her hand. "The money?" She grinned slightly.

Crystal took it quickly, smiling. "Thank you." Though her hand was wet, so it started to get the money wet too. Her eyes widened. "CRAP!" She set the money down on the island in the kitchen, fanning it with her hands quickly.

"Shut up." She said quickly. She sighed and stopped fanning it, staring at it for a moment before heading to her room to change.

After a few minutes, Crystal came back out in some pajamas.

Santanta looked at her and shrugged before looked around the rest of the kitchen. He sighed and went to the living room and sat down.

Crystal followed, but stayed behind him when he sat down. She wrapped her arms around his neck gently and rested her chin on the top of his head. "Soo..."
