Flash sighs. "My boyfriend just died, and someone kidnapped my baby," She whispers, and shakes her head.

"I'm sorry to hear that, about your boyfriend. Tell me about this thing of your kid getting kidnapped though. If you don't mind."

Flash pulls her knees to her chest and stares at the ground. "Well, I went outside to help my boyfriend so he didn't die, and I guess someone stole my kid, Dylan," She whispers.

"Any idea of who this person is, that kidnapped him?"

Flash shakes her head. "No," She replies.

"Would it be bad if I gave you my number?" Carter asked.

"I don't know," Flash replies.

"You've got a pen?"

Flash twists around, and grabs a pen, handing it to him.

Carter knelt down next to her and took her hand, writing his number down on her wrist. "You can call me whenever." He offered the pen back to her.

Flash nods, and rubs her wrists the scars itching her. She takes the pen back, and sighs.

"I actually need to get back to work, so. You know how to get ahold of me." He turned away, picking up two buckets of paint by their handles, and walking back toward the hospital.

Flash nods, and shuts her door again, still not leaving the parking lot.

A few hours later Flash opens her eyes, and blinks rapidly. "Now I know why I never sleep in this thing," She whispers, and leans forward slightly.

Carter loaded the things back up in his truck, getting ready to leave now that he had finished painting the side of the hospital. He noticed Flash was still there, and frowned.

Flash pulls down the mirror and runs a hand through her hair, climbing in the back to search for a brush, and maybe a change of clothes. She finds the brush, and climbs in her seat again, running it through her hair.

Carter walked over and tapped on the window again.

Flash looks up, and opens the door again, snapping her seat forward. "Hey," She whispers.

"Why are you still here?"

"Don't really want to go back to my place," Flash replies, and grabs her sunglasses, putting them on to block out the sun from her eyes, and so he wouldn't see her eyes go white for a few seconds.

"You're going to have to go back eventually," Carter pointed out.

"Key word, eventually, which means I don't have to right now," Flash replies.

Carter shrugged, "Alright. See you some other time, then." He stepped away from the car and headed back to his truck.

Flash nods, and gets out of her car slowly, stretching her legs.
