Crystal looked at him oddly. "Did you really think I would actually jump out of a window?"

"Anytime," he smiled. Angelica got off the bed and said, "I wanna go with Alec." Santanta nodded, standing up and walking over to the ladder, pushing it down to open it. Ama yelped, the ladder hitting her in the head. "You could have warned me!" Santanta stopped himself from laughing, and said, "Sorry. Can you grab Angelica? She wants to go with Alec." Ama reached up for her as Santanta picked her up and lowered her down the ladder, handing her to Ama, then going back up.

Crystal chuckled and flopped back down on the bed lazily.

"Lazy," he teased, closing the door then going over to her, He got another sharp pain in his shoulder as he went to sit down, making him stand up straight again, sucking in a breath, and waiting for it to pass.

Santanta went to nod, but that just made it worse, making him coil his shoulder toward his back.

Santanta winced as the pain continued getting worse.

Crystal didn't know what to do, but she didn't want him to be in pain. She looked down at her feet silently.

Santanta cursed, letting out a slight breath. A moment later, the pain started fading.

As the pain faded, he rolled his shoulder to make sure it was really gone, then let out his breath that he had been holding.
