Carter frowned slightly, watching her.

Flash grabs her jeans, pulling them on. She pulls off his shirt, not really shy about it anymore, and grabs her own, covering Dylan with his. She pulls it over ehr head, and grabs her phone, looking at Carter. "I love you, Carter Andrew Smith. But I don't want you to loose your job over it. This is where my mom would kick in one of her old sayings. 'If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it wasn't yours in the first place," She whispers, and hugs him tightly, not wanting to let go.

Carter watched her still, his eyes saddening. He hugged her back.

Flash shuts her eyes. "I don't want to leave," She whispers, keeping her arms around him.

Flash sighs, and looks up at him. "But I don't want your life to fall apart," She mumbles, and shakes her head.

Flash sits down on the bed, and brings her knees to her chest. "I feel so vulnerable. I was always told to never let anyone in. And everyone in this house knows things about me, that normal people don't know," She mumbles.

Flash shakes her head. "Its fine Carter. I'll live. Can we just go to sleep," She mumbles and looks at him.

Flash curls up on her side, and watches him quietly, not really wanting to go to sleep.

Flash gets up quietly, and walks to the kitchen again, running the sink, since she didn't want to disturb Carter. She puts some water on her face and sighs, shutting off the water.

Flash dries her face, and sighs, touching her toes, before walking back upstairs. She curls up beside Carter, and shuts her eyes, grabbing his arm. She pulls it around her, and falls asleep.

Carter opened his eyes slowly the next morning, hearing noises in the dresser drawer. He then realized it was only Dylan, he looked up at the ceiling silently.
